Genuine Velour fedora was my hat when I went to a dog soirée this morning.

This Society Club gill ribboned hat has a "Flexo Reed."

That is a Biltmore trifecta for sure. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you feel better soon Reggie. My sister and her daughter (a dentist) both reported a rough go with the second round (but worth the trouble!).

Great series of hats. I really like the bow and brim edge treatment on the first two. You wear them well!

Great looking collection. Hope the vax doesn't treat you too bad. I felt pretty run down for a couple of days after my second one, but I guess it beats the possible alternative.
Hope you are feeling better today, Reggie. I'm up for my "one and done" J&J shot this afternoon.

Thanks Dave. Its been my go to bicycling gear for cool to cold weather this last winter, and now spring.

Nice trifecta, Reggie. I won a trifecta at Santa Anita once, think it was 48 to 5. Yours is nicer. Congrats on the second shot. You should feel some serious weight lifting in another couple of weeks.

Michael
Thank you, gentlemen. I am feeling much better today.

A little modern-day Biltmore trifecta over the past couple of days. One Canadian made and the others were made in the USA. I like to collect Canadian pieces, but these two American-made hats are well constructed and very nice. They were made to emulate the Canadian Biltmore Rosellini line, which was considered their finest hat. View attachment 317207
The USA Imperial line the "Selkirk" maybe 2015 vintage.

The USA-made Imperial line, the Sanford, also may be manufactured in the mid 20 teens.

Canadian made Royal line the "Ark" approximately '01. A little lower down on the pecking order for Biltmore in its day, but a sturdy, comfortable hat just the same.

I had my second COVID vaccine yesterday, feeling a little crummy today.
Excellent Biltomores Reggie. My first fedora was a Biltmore from the late 90s. I gave it away to a coworker that is now my boss and a kinda wish I still had it.

Quick question. How do you all choose which hat to wear each day? You all must have bunch; I have boxfulls of hats and oftentimes just grab the same one out of sheer convenience. Do you choose by color, type, next in hat rotation, etc?

I let my 8 year old daughter pick half the time LOL and the other half of the time I just grab a random hat rushing out of the house in the morning. I have a bad habit of leaving them all over the house.

I usually pick based on:
  1. What felt color best matches my shirt and/or jacket, and,
  2. The hat I have worn the least recently.
Of course, for me, black bowlers go with everything :)

My turn for a birthday weekend. It started Friday night with dinner at our favourite Thai restaurant. I wore my vintage Stylemaster...

Etsuko wore her Hornskov. She wasn’t happy with the flat brim, so we gave it some steam and some shape the other day. She’s happier with it this way.

I gave my Akubra a try with the brim up (for Bob!?)...Not bad, but I think it will continue to get more brim down action.
