Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Looks like we're getting a Memorial Day heatwave in the bay area, so I pulled out my natural Panama OR, Meyer the Hatter special.

I am tired of "clay" descriptors and am trying out some others. Glad you like it.

Good to see you, Robert in a nice looking mid ribbon too. I recently acquired a Marathon with a thin ribbon and campaign bow that bears the same logo. Nice hats.

First time wearing this Yeddo Boater. It originally had a solid black ribbon. Art Fawcett had this brown ribbon which is period correct. I was lucky enough to get it from him before he closed shop. Mike Miller (Northwest Hats) did the actual ribbon replacement. I bought my first boater about a year ago not knowing if I would like them. Now I have three.

Diesel Wicked in the house, accompanied by some cold Stella today. 4 pound pork roast on the grill for a couple hours, cheesy scalloped potatoes in the oven. Stetson Whippet on top. Beautiful day, wish I were cooking for more than four people. Y’all have fun and be safe.

Great mid ribbon. It’s nice to see you posting too. I’ve gotten close, but I’ve never yet shaped a crown into as nice of a diamond as you do.

I always wear my kangaroo leather hat for barbecues because I’m worried about my better hats smelling of barbecue. You don’t have that problem?

Indeed Doug, the Copper Ribbon Club is a nice club to be a member of.
Several here are members, your’s being one of the nicest. Today’s post does no justice to the gorgeousness of the Knox but it’s always a treat to see it.

Thanks Greg.... hope all is well with you. The ribbon on this Marathon is a greenish brown color with a reddish brown accent on the bow.

I usually wear my Akubra but today it didn’t match at all, and I was running low and slow. I was very careful, believe me.
