I think you should stick with it, Bill. It really does suit you.I think it sits a bit high on my head but a little stretch would correct that. I’m just not to sure about this plantation style. Which is weird as I love the Brent Black Monte Carlo and my Art Fawcett.

Its a BB, what's not to love Bill? You certainly have a great selection to choose from, nice to switch things up a bit with styles that stretch our comfort zones. I feel that way with my short brim hats.Brent Black Plantation for work tonight. Still not to sure about this hat.

Looks like you’re in my neck of the Texas Hill Country. I see the Cedar looking over your shoulder. I hope you’ve been enjoying the cooler days and lower humidity. Feels like they’ve just about come to an end. Safe travels.Today is take your Texas Hi-Roller to work day. Had to do an estate inspection and roof survey out in the Hill Country. Love these jobs where I can send up the drone.

Thanks Bill. I really like the color and shape on this one, too. I thought the BB plantation looked great on you.I really like this one Michael.
That's a fine weave on that one, Stefan. Looks super.
Back to boating today with this open weave Stetson, late 1930s to 1940. The crown is firm, the brim is flexible with a gentle upswing to the flange. The sweatband stitching is hidden which is a lovely finishing touch.
Another hot day.

Have a great Sunday,
Michael
Both great hats, Eric. I want to see how the Stratoliner fits in that box. I have one of those boxes with no insert in it and it seems just altogether too narrow to fit a hat into.Early morning excursion in an Adam Pacesetter. "Executive Quality" no less. Advertised as "Aqua Shed." I chose the bright hued felt to brighten a morning when I am feeling fatigued. It brightened my spirits -worked.
I went over to the local coffee shop for some freshly roasted coffee in my Stetson Stratoliner. I thought it would be nice to share the box it resides in. I was sweaty from dog walk, a bit disheveled from carefully shoveling the ashes out of the fire pit by the lake and still unshaven before I went. This hat (and a clean shirt of course) made me public presentable.
Home and cleaning up for the day. I have energy, coffee, shaven and clean - life is good.
Best, Eric -

Thank you, Michael. It's a bit heavy on the shellac, but still works. Thanks Bill. I really like the color and shape on this one, too. I thought the BB plantation looked great on you.
