Love the sweater !
Thanks Sonero. You can get the sweaters here, https://www.irishgiftsandsweaters.com/ Might be a bit warm for your area, but it served me well out on the bike on a windy day. Great look for you today with the Fed IV and towel and Firehose jacket. I have a pair of their Firehose pants and I could see the cloth doing very nicely for a hard wearing blazer.

Thanks,
Michael

Canadian Playboy today.

Wow! What a color! But isn't "Canadian Playboy" a contradiction in terms? Like Military Intelligence or Jumbo Shrimp?

It’s well into the 90s here today so I don’t bad about wearing straw.

I like this one a lot Brent! Great shape. I don't know how long Bee Hats lasted, think this might be 1960s?

Borsalino (French market)

Thanks. I've got one of those fishing sweaters from Peru in alpaca. I will take a pic during the cooler months. The firehouse blazer is another topic but are you aware of the 11 or so pockets it has ? It is the ultimate travel jacket. It's like owning a duck canvas blazer with a boat load of pockets.

I needed a change so I reverted the brim shape of my Falcon Park black cherry lords hat to the way Parker originally made it for me.
Enjoy your day!

Love that color so much Jeff. I like the new/old look.

Wearing a gift from a fellow Lounger who wishes to remain anonymous. My thanks to him for the hat. This is a Culo Brutto Borsalino in black. It's my next project and is already on the block. The felt is real nice and the detailing is second to none. I'll be reusing the original ribbon work and brim binding. There's plenty of hat here to work with and it should make a very nice conversion. I'll be squaring up the crown from its previous very tapered form. It has plenty of open crown height, (somewhere between 5 3/4 and 6 inches tall), and a 3 inches wide brim. I'm not a black hat fan but I may make an exception with this one when I'm finished. I'll have more in the Conversion Corral when it's completed...

Oooooh I can't wait for this one! Black hats matter Terry!

Great minds think alike, @Redfokker. At the dentis with a Mallory XV with Duplex Edge.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
You look great in the XV! What shall we wear tomorrow?

just got home from lunch with my wife..... Peter Bros today. Indy Brown 5" crown and 3" dimensional cut brim. My very first custom hat back in 1994. This is the one that started it all.....<sigh> ;)

You always remember your first love. Great color and lines.

Hey all!
The previously discussed Borden. I used a flange and hand shaping to put a curl back in the brim, but I think I'm lacking a technique and probably a tool or two to get the tightness back to the curl.
I was having bad luck getting decent pics, weird lighting today. Here's one that shows the brim a little better.

Great look Michael. We still are not cool enough to justify a sweater, soon though...

Easy big fella! Don't show us all of your hats in one day! Classy Dobbs.

Another nice day here. I've been grabbing the Resistol Western Panama. With this brim we can block a lot of sun!

Blocks the sun indeed. Shade for a foursome!

I love the color on this Hanover Bill. This model is high on my covet list.

Hey all. While I was rummaging around the hat room. I rediscovered this one which had been sitting in the box new and never worn for about 2 years. Pleasant surprise.

Thank you Mike. I'm anxious to see how this one turns out, myself. It's my first Borsalino and I think it will turn out to be a nice hat.

It's good to have a black one Terry!:) …………….at least three of them period. It's going to be a merry go round but great to have options! I only wanted one but ended up with a couple more.

I think to put it into perspective? Black is menacingly sexy! Just me again fella's:D

Can't wait for the transformation!

@Frunobulax "made" me buy this. It came yesterday.
He and I both thought it was a homburg from the pics on the eBay. It ain't.
