Oh my, but I've been having a successful November, hat-wise!!

There's a whole thread on these, going all the way back to 2006, so I don't think I need to go into detail for you folks; most of you probably know more about these hats than I do.

Proudly showing off my new-to-me Demon Hanover, which possesses one of the all-time kewlest freaking linings I've ever seen on a hat.

If that’s true that the under-the-lining tag reflects the creation date, then mine was born in September, 1953, just 14 months after I was. The hat is DEFINITELY in better condition.

Cosa si può dire di un cappello così? E' una meraviglia!
I would like to find one in my size here in the place of origin, dear Alan
Thank you... and good luck in your quest.

The Gorasgu is a big style - not one I pick up to wear often - but the construction and details are really special and hard to resist when an older specimen in good condition appears.

Got tired of wearing cheap ill fitting hats and finally broke down and bought a decent one from David Morgan. I can see now it's money well spent.

Congrats—that’s a beauty and suits you to a T! I recently got a guitar that was built the same year I was born—and in the same city. I’d say we’re both showing our age but there’s something special about it. ;)

Cheers,

David
