Carl Ceschka Wien, Back Bow, possibly 1920s and a recent find. It very wide brim so it might be considered an Artist Hat / Sombrero. The Velour is more Soleil like and of a heavier weight yet super pliable.

And Importantly, today November 10th 2024 is the 249th birthday of the United States Marine Corps! Im proud to have been associated with the Big Green Machine for a bit over 50 yrs now. Funny how with passing years and more hair, the hats and uniforms dont fit very well anymore lol

Goodnight Chesty wherever you are!

Your collection never ceases to amaze me and today is no exception. All are magnificent however I'm drawn to the color combination of the Fabroc like a moth to a flame.lol

Another absolutely STUNNING sampling of amazing headwear, Stefan! I'm going with the Cambiaghi as #1, the Fabroc as #2 (that ribbon and binding!!) and #3 is a tie between the Steco, and the Staalmeester. As always, thanks for starting Sunday off with such beauty.

Beauties, each and every one of them, but if pushed, I’d go for the Steco. I love the way the sunlight makes the felt pop…though the same could be said for the Fabroc.

It's raining cats & dogs here @ Rock Bottom today & I have no plans to go anywhere. That doesn't mean I won't be wearing a hat around the house, especially since this Biltmore Silver Buckle Peace River model in Shadow Grey just arrived yesterday. It features their Canadian Kodiak felt which I really like. Not so crazy about the hatband but it is slowly growing on me.lol.
* I put my pencil curl tool to use on this one too !

Great week Stefan!! I’m gonna go with the Staalmeester based on the sheer character that hat exudes!!! Wow!
