Been out of the loop for a few days. Finished up a 25 page research paper on Indian Removal Policy 1830-1850, a just for fun(?) seminar class I took this term. Continued Remodel hell, but some progress. I did wear hats every day, failed totally on photographing them. So now, I return, right into the middle of a stellar parade of hats by everyone. Feels good to be back in the family, I missed it.

Whippet today. It's hard to tell but it is a pastel minty color. Happy Friday to everyone.

Nice one Adrian, all the bells and whistles on this one.

Very nice, Daniele. The color is very rich, and I love that liner.
Another unseasonably frosty day in SA Ohio. Today, a Barclay which I rebuilt from scratch about a year ago. No idea of it's age, but it is one of the nicest felts I own. Thin, lightweight, takes a crease with ease. A slightly lower crown than is my preference, but it's still a joy to wear. Plus, a color that you don't often see. Kind of a greenish-brownish-bronze thing it has going on.

Very nice Borsalino, great color. Good to see you Mr. Dog.
I saw a picture of Ryan Gosling wearing a gray Optimo and realized I haven't worn mine in ages.
Ana already bought the piñatas for our annual December 22 posada party. I think she overdid it with the size this time.

How very festive and colorful Max. Great looking brim on that gray beauty.

Borsalino in blue this fine morning. Thanks for all the recent likes!

Love me some blue Borsos! Nice lines, from one who is not afraid of a slim brim hat.

Nice color on that O'Farrell Bob. I really like that beaded hat band.

Antique Austrian velour recently acquired. Many thanks to the Lounge members who have owned this hat previously and resisted the temptation to alter its size and form. It fits me like and suits me like a glass slipper. More notes in the German/Austrian thread.

This hat would fit right in at a Oregon State football game, with a black hatband. I dig that coat a lot.

A proper center dent with a hint of a pinch. Very classic look to this one Jeff. Love that ribbon.

Hey everyone!
Felt like a Dalton Genuine Beaver kind of afternoon.

Impeccable sir! I just love the way the ribbon on this Optimo compliments the whole look. You never cease to impress Reggie!

Foul weather gear required this morning as I venture out. The No. 1 was the choice.

First stop of the day. Some of you may recognize the infamous Waffle House sign in the background. No, Jim, no women were gotten.

Very serviceable hat for the weather. I have never been to a Waffle House, we do not have them here in the Northwest. They sound like an experience though. I finally made it to a White Castle when visiting my Daughter a few years ago, also an "experience".

Another day, another rebuild. This one started it's life as a Berger of Hollywood. At least 1940s, and maybe earlier. Even with Mike's (@Redfokker) help I couldn't t corral this one's age. By the time I got my grubby little mitts on it, it was merely a shell of it's former self. Cleaned, reblocked, new sweat/liner, and my second ever sharksgill using vintage blue ribbon. Hence, the Frunoberger.

I almost stopped to take pics in front of a Waffle House, but didn't.
