What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

You should see the other guy - not a scratch on him.

Had sinus surgery this morning. Wore a vintage whippet to the hospital. Funny thing is they misplaced/labeled my clothes. I assured them I'd be fine just wearing my hat going out of the building and the rest could be all natural. They found my clothes real fast!

I'm sure the hat would have distracted from anything else. Get well.

Steve, Thank you! Also thank you for pointing out the old Breiter München logo. The addresses could be helpful in dating the hat.
Ja, the clue must be in the Weinstraße address. Dachauerstraße and Kaufingerstraße were either side of WWI. When did they acquire nr. 6 Weinstraße? Was it in their expansion of 1930?

I'm sure your extensive files will yield an answer for us, Steve.

Steve, I found this A. Breiter München advertisement from 1925 with the Weinstr. 6 address. Also has the two other addresses that are on the JHS "Plume".

From the Advertisement Section, Official guide through the collections with 128 illustrations and 7 plans By Deutsches Museum (Germany), Benno Laskow, Gustav Hofmann, Joh. Bernhard Barkemeyer · 1925

Prior to 1925 there was a Bayerstr. 53a location plus the additional two other locations but no Weinerstr 6 location.

A. BREITER MÜNCHEN Kaufingerstr 23 Dachauerstr 14 Bayerstr 53a
Allgemeine Rundschau Volume 16, Part 2 1919
Allgemeine Rundschau Volume 17 1920
Allgemeine Rundschau - Volume 21 1924

There were two more locations added by 1930.

A BREITER MUNICH , 23 Kaufingerstrasse 6 Weinstrasse 14 Dachauerstrasse 5/7 Zweibrückenstr, 29 Schellingstrasse
Oberammergau and Its Passion Play, 1930 - Page 16

Based on these findings it's possible the JHS "Plume" could be as old as 1925. I have to check if there are any A. Breiter München logos with the additional 1930 addresses.
