Nicely shaped Mayser, Steve. I love them when they come with date stamps, not to mention wind cords.Echter Mayser "Mayser's Supra", date stamped 11/14/50.

Looks righteous on you, too!
Birds of a feather...you know the rest, bro Randy, and I’d say that’s one nice flocking Feather!
Joe, Looks great! Hopkins was out of Baltimore. Baltimore was a Straw Hat center back in the day.View attachment 401780 View attachment 401781
Hopkins Genuine Panama
Fine weave - 5 3/8 crown
Black puggaree
Pencil curl brim - 2 1/2 to curl
This very cool fine weave Panama with pencil curl brim and sort of homburg stylings along with what would be my first boater came off a tip from @BobHufford I really like the styling of this hat and it is like no other straw I have. Among my finer weave Panama this one slips right in between the Muse and The Colonel in terms of weave. I’d like to work the brim some to see if I can get it to seat a little lower instead of curling even higher on top of the edge curl As you can see in the on head shots. I do believe though this one will be getting a lot of wear in the coming months. Thanks again Bob.

Simple, but super and effective advertisement slogan along with the image.
I started getting emails again suddenly today. I also just checked my junk mail box and found a ton of emails from TFL in there. You may need to sort those settings out.Thanks. I went and checked them all, waited a while and still not working. Went back and all unchecked again. I guess I’ll wait it out.
Beautiful work as usual, Terry. Though it is your preferred style, this one turned out especially well.I wish I would've taken a few "Before" pictures of this hat before I converted it. I usually do but this time I forgot. This was a way too small and low crowned 6 3/4 Alexander Western. It was a well finished hat that felt and reacted like a vintage one. Better than most modern Westerns I've worked with. Anyway, I was able to block it up to a 7 1/4 LO. After I took it off the block the crown just dry creased so easy, something similar to a vintage 3X Beaver Stetson. In fact, a bit better, and felt better to the touch, too. Definitely a well finished hat for a modern Western. I didn't have to thin the crown down at all. The brim, on the other hand, was what you'd expect from a recent Western, thick and stiff, but still well finished. The brim, I did have to thin down. I got a fairly tall open crown out of it for being so low when I first started it. I ended up with a good vertical sided 5 5/8 open crown and is creased to my preferred Teardrop. 'As creased', it's 4 3/4 at the pinch with a rake sloping to 4 1/4 inches in the back, and is 5 inches at its tallest. The brim is 2 5/8 inches wide. I reused the original single ply skinny ribbon to accentuate the hat's profile and to give it a crisp and casual look....

Someone good as you can make, and has made better Strats than Stetson did, so...
Thank you steur!Beautiful work as usual, Terry. Though it is your preferred style, this one turned out especially well.

Fantastic hat, Joe. It's one I'm still missing in the collection. I'd keep it exactly like it is.View attachment 401780 View attachment 401781

That was the first thing I did. Only thing in mine is all the phony “shutting down your account (banks) due to unusual activity” garbage. Glad yours started working though! There is hope!I started getting emails again suddenly today. I also just checked my junk mail box and found a ton of emails from TFL in there. You may need to sort those settings out.
