Great looking hat. My knowledge of Stetsons is limited, but it has a Stratoliner vibe to it. Do you know the model?

Thank you, PD. There is no particular model name on the sweatband or elsewhere in this hat. A model could likely be found by researching mid 50’s Miller-Stockman catalogs. This Hat is of a model I’ve seen in other quality levels, from a No. 1 Quality to this 7X CB but I’ve not seen one with a model name. This particular hat is is 3” brim x 6” crown. It has a bound brim with a 3 ply ribbon. It is done on a #52 block with a western dress weight felt and has a very stiff brim. There are a number of differences between this hat and a Stratoliner and not many similarities to my eye but I admit I’ve never owned a Strat so I can’t comment first hand about them other than the ones I’ve seen and read about here.

Home from work yesterday afternoon and needed to move snow. An Adams with a unique ribbon treatment was my hat choice.

Dinner was grilled catfish on oak coals. A blue Whippet was my fedora for the outside task.

Dog soirée this morning in a favorite Borsoliono Misto.

The liner remnants look like hat versions of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Thank goodness they're more decipherable.
