Such a wonderful parade of hats gentlemen!

Sun is finally here after a whole week with snow, rain and extremely strong winds... so we aimed for a walk and some coffee. St. Regis and Akubra stylemaster the hats of choice for today.

Unfortunately new tough shutdown measures had everything closed since this morning...so we just ended up in the grocery store for some shopping :)

Nice find, Randall. Not to mention great sewing. Looks good on you, my friend.

View attachment 302870 My hat of the day is a refurbishment of an otherwise beautiful, mint condition 1930s Dobbs homburg.
An 85 year old survivor deserves the best work one can do and I kept this in mind when hand sewing the original sweatband back into this $50 eBay purchase. (More on this hat in the EBay victories thread)

Thank you, Randall.

The place where I take most of my hat photos is down by the harbour in Elsinore. It's a 10 minute walk from my apartment. In the background, you can often see Kronborg Castle. Hamlet's castle in Shakespeare's play, though the real Amled never set foot in there. Beyond that, across the Sound, you can often see Sweden.

It is indeed a pretty place. I'm often down there.

Fine Stetson, Steve, on a beautiful day and pretty surroundings!
You probably already have, but I missed it. Could you explain a little bit about this wonderful looking place you go to so often for hat selfies?

Great to see you Panos. Two beautiful hats on two beautiful people.
Take care both. I read the lockdown in Oslo just went up a notch or three.

Thank you Steve! Indeed, it's actually stricter than it was back on March, the British variant was just found in the area...

Lovely color on this Lord's, seems like it has some wool in? Also wondering if it's unlined?

You both look great Panos!
Thank you Bob!!
