Wearing my Melton refurb again this a.m. This hat's been reblocked on my Randal Alan and completely restyled with the addition of a matching colored brim binding and an 1 1/2 black ribbon with a slightly upturned bow...

Beautiful hat, Joe. Might need to get me one of these (but I'm unwilling to pay the Whippet prices;))

Yes, they did, Stefan. So did those Italians. Another great looking pair for you with those two Nutrias.

Thanks Randy. It was in pretty much new looking condition, but unfortunately even with a lot of conditioning the sweat suffered some serious damage after a day of wear on a hot day.

Thanks,
Michael
Thanks, Michael. I seem to have hit the special critter hats this week.
Dobbs Hanover Square is going to help me shovel off the drive today.

Since about the only times I've been leaving the grounds here this winter is for a bike ride I've barely had on a long coat. Today I decided to go with this old Zero King. Seemed like the Dobbs was calling for it.

Have a good Sunday,

Love the colours of your Hanover Square. Goes perfectly with the coat as well.

Monark Homburg today. This was a very kind bonus hat from Panos @PanosChris. I originally turned it down and chose other hats from the collection he's currently downsizing. Panos knew better and put it in the mix. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness in doing so. It definitely has hues of midnight blue.

Gorgeous homburg, Steve and in a fabulous condition. How can one say no to that?
Stefan, Thank you! It does have a tall crown and wider brim. Great additions (Borsalino Duo) to your Italian Series today!
Thank you,Steve.

That one looks great on you, Brent. The collaboration with Rick paid off in spades.

Very nice, Perry.
The homburgs continue their parade, here Verona, east of Italy.

Today another "Diplomatique" made by Tirard many years ago and called "Supra", the size is 59cm or 7 1/2 in the United States.

The color of the felt is "Eton" and the ribbon that adorns the hat is an amazing tone on tone with pink reflections.
View attachment 301959 The dimensions are as impressive as his other French brothers, only the crown is one centimeter less in height. It is very wearable and has a low weight.

The word "Impermeable" is stamped on the sweat band which was a plus in those years.

Happy Monday and let the beautiful hats flow
Beautiful hat, Daniele. Understated elegance.

Your hats and overcoats hat you share are excellent! Cheers.

I ike the ribbon trimmings on this hat. You got skills.

Sharp hat, but my eyes keep coming back to the long coat. Excellent pairing.

Blue goodness! Hey I see sunshine in your neck of the world. Congrats.

Brent I like the "sahara" hued felt.

Agreed! The Whippets with your hats dimensions are just classic proportions. Classy look.

Excellent hats and sweaters of late Perry.

Daniele; Thanks for sharing your homburg collection of late. I am appreciating the hats that I do not see often enough. Today's has a pearl-essence quality which is very attractive.

Cheers, Eric -
Thank you, Eric. You set an example for us all.

Great snag, Bill. That one could have started a bidding war on the bay! Magnificent.

Went with my gorgeous 30’s marathon today.
Welcome to the lounge. Great way to make an entrance.

Wonderful hat, Joe. Love that ribbon.

Very nice, Wayne. Not easy to find the good Flechet hats.

An Adam in Eva-shape; that can't be a coincidence. Gorgeous hat, Dave. Very cool ribbon.

Well, there's different view altogether, Perry. The great hat is still there though.

A fedora labeled "Mystery Felt" does cause me to pause.

TONAK - Formerly Hückel "Zephyr Seal Velour", probably late 1940s so a very early Tonak and made for the American market (Imported By F. R. Tripler & Co. Madison Ave. AT 48 Street New York). As I have mentioned in the past this lightweight Tonak Black Velour is very difficult to photograph because it absorbs all light.
