Now that’s a descriptor. Pushes ‘molds like clay’ to the back of the line. Great colors on that one, Eric.
Nice, reminds me of my Dunlap. The other day I was looking for a light weight felt for warmer weather . Found this Marathon on EBay! Listed as a 50's hat... it's actually earlier from the logo.

Have a good day,

Hat is beautiful Bill. Love that tie!First time wearing this Yeddo Boater. It originally had a solid black ribbon. Art Fawcett had this brown ribbon which is period correct. I was lucky enough to get it from him before he closed shop. Mike Miller (Northwest Hats) did the actual ribbon replacement. I bought my first boater about a year ago not knowing if I would like them. Now I have three. I always wear my kangaroo leather hat for barbecues because I’m worried about my better hats smelling of barbecue. You don’t have that problem?View attachment 237490 View attachment 237491 View attachment 237492 View attachment 237493 Diesel Wicked in the house, accompanied by some cold Stella today. 4 pound pork roast on the grill for a couple hours, cheesy scalloped potatoes in the oven. Stetson Whippet on top. Beautiful day, wish I were cooking for more than four people. Y’all have fun and be safe.
Indeed Doug, the Copper Ribbon Club is a nice club to be a member of.
Dunlap made a great hat! I got my first just about a month ago.Nice, reminds me of my Dunlap.
Thanks Greg.... hope all is well with you. The ribbon on this Marathon is a greenish brown color with a reddish brown accent on the bow.Good to see you, Robert in a nice looking mid ribbon too. I recently acquired a Marathon with a thin ribbon and campaign bow that bears the same logo. Nice hats.
Thank you, Brent. I've seen your diamonds..... they are top notch!Great mid ribbon. It’s nice to see you posting too. I’ve gotten close, but I’ve never yet shaped a crown into as nice of a diamond as you do.
I usually wear my Akubra but today it didn’t match at all, and I was running low and slow. I was very careful, believe me.I always wear my kangaroo leather hat for barbecues because I’m worried about my better hats smelling of barbecue. You don’t have that problem?
Oh, I really like the shirt (and the hat), Bill!
