Looks great! I’d like to hear more about the hat; I’ve been thinking about placing an order for a while now.
Well, it's very good quality felt. I have had it for nearly two years. I would guess I have had it on 300 out of the ~700 days I have owned it. I was suspicious of the headband at first, but it is holding up well. I would highly recommend if you can find a color you like in 100%beaver.

Man, outstanding ! And Sheriff of Orange Co. to boot. Do you know anything about him ?
Yes I’ve done some limited research. He was sheriff of Orange County from 1939-1947. Reputed member of the KKK and testified before Congress against allowing Japanese-Americans to return to their homes from the wartime internment camps. Interesting fellow! Lol

Apparently the hat was a gift as part of his being sworn into office in 1939.

The situation here is strange and bizarre. Everything is stopped and many people with children and young boys walk on the streets. The virus has affected many super populated areas of northern Italy and fearing an extension of the infections to the South, the government has rightly decided to extend some prohibitions to all Italy to contain the infection.
This bulletin is for those who want to know the situation of Coronavirus in Italy

Many people are walking around, finally avoiding crowds

Today for the walk, dotted with meetings of acquaintances and friends, I put this Borsalino homburg on.
View attachment 219232
It is a small rounded homburg or "lobbia".
View attachment 219233 The color of the felt is "Bario" and the ribbon is "Asfalto" while the ribbon that adorns the brims is the same color as the felt.

Have a nice day and many thanks for the likes on the JB French from the thirties.
Buona giornata!
Many prayers for you and all of the people of Italy during this most strange and unsettling time.

BTW - great homburg!
