Tim, Ecosan is a lovely, lovely raw edge model Borsalino.
Borsalino felt and craftsmanship at their finest, imho.
One of my most celebrated hat day victories was the day i received twin Ecosans from the same seller in the original box for the price of one. One in Averla and one in Pervinca, blue.
I still smile thinking of that day and both remain in the tops of my collection.
I celebrate with you Sir.
The pic is the first day i wore it on Willow’s first day 2 1/2 years ago.

I agree.. I don’t think I have an HCA felt hat that I don’t enjoy.I do like that Dobbs felt. Soft and supple when exposed to the elements.
Quite beautifulFritz Hückel Hutmacher Weilheim "Zephyr Seal Velour" possibly mid to later 1950s. This hat was made for the American market and Tonak probably had the trademark so Hückel Weilheim had to use a different trademark. I haven't worn this one in a long while but it's really a great later Velour.
NICE to see it out and about!!!!!!!
Wow! What an excellent hat. That velour felt looks rich and supple, and the bow is perfect. Another great one, Steve.Fritz Hückel Hutmacher Weilheim "Zephyr Seal Velour" possibly mid to later 1950s.
