End of the second week at the new job and casual day! It actually hit 75 degrees here today and I was captivated by the little blue flowers we get every spring.

Gene, that looks like a great outfit for a gig. I take it you play the harmonica. What type music does you group do?

Thanks!

:eek:fftopic:
My harmonica playing is something I do as a past time. I do perform live with various bands around Central Florida. They invite me to sit in for a couple of numbers and then I get back out while I'm ahead! :D I also attend regular jams. Blues mostly. That's my thing. But rock and country and some folk is fun as well.

For an actual living - and the reason I was at the BikeFest - I do caricature art. It puts me at all the area festivals and that's how I've come to know the bands.

PM me to talk more music. I'm always up for that...

cool HPGene... we just had at the California Pops Orchestra

:eek:fftopic: "Best of the Big Bands" concerts a soloist that was a jazz harmonicist. Name of Tom Stryker. He was awesome! The Pops conductor Kim Venaas plays too, he had a big double sided hinged harmonica that plays chords.

Thanks Bingles that Dobbs is posted in the Porkpie thread with before and after shots.

Today I chose to ignore the weather and join the Hawaiian shirt thread.....with my Fed IV Deluxe in Moonstone.

Looks like the straws are coming out, and the felts are being packed away for the summer.

I like the looks of the one you're wearing, DGuy, and yours too, Bolt.

DGuy, where did you find the straw/linen? I haven't heard of one of those before.

Man, does it feel great to finally be able to hang out in the sun. It's been a long winter here...;)

Today, a Stratoliner...
