Today it’s a Vita-Felt Strat. Kinda Sandstone colored. Very lightweight, linerless from long ago. Rather nice thin felt.

Thanks Red. I think there was still some snow in the shadows yesterday, but after today's 65 it's probably down to some thick ice accumulations here and there. And best, they seem to have taken a new snowfall out of Thursday's forecast.

'50's Mallory Premiere on a rainy SoCal morning:

I just can't imagine it ever being cold enough for you to need that nice jacket. Love the ribbon.

When this hat came to me I named it the Intrigue. It is a somewhat puzzling Stetson 7X clear beaver quality hat in a mode edge dress style - a little earlier than many and with some custom adaptations that are hard to pin down from where and by whom performed. It was quite dirty - I had the hat worked on at Optimo, where Graham replaced the ribbon and sweatband and cleaned the hat as best he could. It is lovely to wear, with its mysteries in tow.

What a great puzzle to have! That old sweat looks like it was doodled on by everyone at the factory. Very nice.
