SNOW WEATHER UPDATE:
Still snowing here at an amazing rate, and it's really piling up deeply. SO deep again, that when I went down at the street in front of my house to get the newspaper, (yup, I still do!) I spied a HAT in the middle of the road. I picked up the hat, to find there was a guy in the snow under it, wearing the hat. I asked if he wanted help getting out of the deep snow, but he refused, saying if he could only get the horse under him to move, he could ride out....

THAT's DEEP.

Nice. That is such a perfect it's very, very winter hat. And the outfit... killer.
Thanks Matt. It is about my favorite cold weather hat.

Obviously she appreciates a fine wardrobe.
Or something. Ha ha.

Super fantastico!!!
Thanks Daniele. Today's suit is of French design, but Italian manufacture.

First afternoon in wandering where I was born and I played

This was a special creation made for hat shop Foresto - Turin

Styled by Borsalino on the sweatband, at 99% a Vanzina high end production

Thick velour for an impressive hat. Color is "Morello" (black horse)

A rare shape and proportions hat for the Italian market. One of my favourite in the "imponent" section

Thanks for the kind words and likes on the "hairy" Charles Hatter in brown
That is a great wandering around hat Daniele. Love the proportions, color and the felt ribbon. A real winner all around.

Way to look like a million bucks at the grocery store! That great furry top knot is stunning!
Thanks Red. I really like that near stingy Dobbs you are wearing today. Looks great on you.

You should let her take a picture, you would end up a social media darling. Maybe some of her younger crowd would learn how to dress with some class.
Ha ha, I forgot until she mentioned it again today why she wanted the photos, to make a calendar of different looks in clothing. Strange woman. Ha ha.

Like the mouton's brown. Very good choice to confront the elements. Great outfit.
Thanks 65. I stayed warm today and that was about all I could ask for.

Thanks all,
Michael

Thank you for each and every "like" and comment this week, folks!

Today offers a bit of distraction from the day-to-day grind with a genuine BLIZZARD here in the Northeast USA. So it's time for a Vintage Silhouettes Porkpie party as it keeps up coming down. The first two pictures are from inside, looking out. The second two are just outside the door. I'd say it makes snow today!!

Thinking of you guys in the arctic blizzard zone today. It is big news on our local channels. Great looking porkpie, a perfect bowl for a pile of snow. Keep safe and warm Charlie.

It has zoomed all the way up to -3 degrees F. Going with a mouton hat for the weekly grocery shopping trip.

Have a great Thursday,
Michael
That outfit gives you a very regal look. Just need a
gilded horn full of fine mead and a dragon hunting spear.
A war horse might help, but not necessary.
Looks great.:)

Thanks Moe. I think, given the weather, that a vodka shot, some caviar and a dill pickle might be more fitting. Loved your Whippet yesterday. Does it have Stetson written on the size tag or is it just the size?

Thanks,
Michael
