Starting the day with falcon park black cherry. We’ll see where the hours take me.

Cold and gray on Verona.
Today recovery day of family cars that for different reasons have remained firm, nailed by the cold

Borsalino in gray felt finished with short hair. The shape is the old one, very popular before the WWII, but it is a revival of the "Casa di Alessandria" in the 50s or 60s

Very malleable and of great softness

I confess I forgot to transcribe the data of the hat

It was sold in Parma a few years ago

Sweet Moe, what color is that?

Thanks hato! It's a green-grey. Can't wait for some sunshine to get a good color pic or two.
Lookin' good, Moe-man. Nice pick up.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

A dusting of snow overnight. First of the season that has actually stuck around for more than an hour or two. Royal Stetson OR decided it wanted a different dent this morning

Trying to get packed for my trip tomorrow. Not really feeling it at the moment.

The OR is perfect with that ensemble. Love the flecks of color in the material of that great coat. Travel safe and have a wonderful Christmas my friend.

You are ready for Christmas?
What a wonderful Homburg Daniele. That finish and brim are so nice. Another new favorite, until something else you post moves me so.

Thanks Red. Hope you have a great Christmas too. And I'll extend that to all the other fine folks here at the FL. I'll be trying to check in, whether I succeed or not is still to be determined.

Thanks,
Michael

Following D. Dog's lead, my Trimble accompanies me for the evening's frolicks. It doesn't just fit, it "Floating Fit"s.

It's a great hat and wearing it reminds me that I need to get in gear and finish writing my summary of Trimble's history for the Trimble Tavern. Reckon' that I need to post photos of this hat there, too.

Color is a bit washed out in the still shots, but I'm too lazy to try again.
Very nice.
The sweatband reminds me the one on my Biltmore.

Headed out for a walk this morning. 29° at the time, but the Trimble is keeping my head warm.

It is hard to imagine that kind of cold in the desert, I know it is a thing, but your photos look so sunny warm. That Trimble is a beauty, love the proportions.

Borsalino Friday
Looks good Christophe, I like the bright color of this one.

Gorgeous color on that Aussie.

For my lid, nothing special; just this old Royal Stetson over top of a Pendleton Board shirt from circa 1980.

Great look for the holiday. Have a great family Christmas Harv.

Adam Executive on a rainy Friday.
A previous owner removed the brim binding but Scott at Fine Vintage Fedoras did a great job of replacing it

Have a wonderful weekend

That binding really makes that Adam shine Richard. Love the tone of brown.

All these great looking thin ribbons today. I'll throw one of my thin ribbon conversions into the mix. This Resistol Western was originally a gift from Anthony. After I converted it, it became the only black hat I ever liked...lighting sure makes a difference in picture quality.
An earlier picture from a different day....

A couple of big hitters from an earlier era

Black becomes you, the richness of that felt really shows in the sunlight. Merry Ho Ho to you and yours.

On the way to a blues jam with my band... wearing my Dobbs playing lid of course. Rock on!

That black cherry just dances in that light Jeff. I'm really loving that tone of cherry.

Super Trimble Matt, that sweat is really special. Looks good on you. Only two more days until your Elf hat!
