I believe she means that Bob may have been having PM convos with bartenders that influenced the suspension decision. Of course, we would not know what was said in such convos.

Still, the domino effect started because of a harmless picture. So if we follow the causality of this particular episode, I don't know how Bob could be the only guilty party. And since he is just a member, it appears he is the only one who has to bear punishment. The whole thing makes me uncomfortable.

Yes, it may be that things escalated, but having issues over a harmless picture seems extreme.

Anyway, thing is, it's been a day and the only thing close to an explanation is someone calling me stupid so I'm gone, should never have come back and explained.

I cannot know how anyone made the determination about the pictures and as such, there was a lot more to this then what you or I would know. However, it was not done simply to single one person out. That much I do know as one Bartender was already in the middle of getting things resolved and Bob posted what had just been removed, again. That is what was the "final straw" and made the ban be forever.

I have and will continue to be a good friend to Bob and hold no ill will towards the Bartenders who make the decisions they make. I may not agree with what happened but I do at least understand and will respect the decision made. Not because I totally agree with it, but, rather have to support the Bartenders in their jobs here. It is all very sad to have happened indeed and Bob will be thought of often.

You are correct and I am sure there is much more to all of this. I have been in touch with Bob and I am sure he understands more now then he did when this first was happening. I am fully in Bob's corner, and no matter what will continue to be on contact with him as he is well loved in my household, just as most everyone else here!

I understand what you're saying. I just think extra consideration should have been given in light of the fact that a harmless photo was the impetus for the whole thing. I get that Bob reposted the deleted material as a bartender was trying to smooth things over with him privately. I totally see how that was a mark against the letter of the law. But the fact that the post was deleted in the first place shows inconsistency by the mods toward Bob. And it's certainly understandable that such perceived inconsistency could lead to brash behavior on Bob's part. And we don't know the convo details between Bob and the bartender. We don't know if or how Bob responded to said bartender.
