Finally got outside to enjoy the sunshine with the cold air. It is a perfect day to be out and about to let my mind regroup for another go. I am really enjoying the fit and look of this Cattlman. I am also looking forward to the BGGCD that will arrive not a moment too soon.

Is that Burgundy on Black? The combo looks great. Gives me an idea for a fedora project.
Thanks Terry. The felt is black. The grosgrain is closer to a plum than burgundy.

I'm sitting under halogen bulbs in a Barnes & Noble right now. An app on my phone assigns the Hex color as #584040.

Here is a website for more info on the color recognized by my app.

I have also attached an enlargement of the binding and ribbon from a photo I took in the sunshine earlier today. It does appear considerably lighter in the sunshine.

By the way... I failed to compliment you on the job you did on that blue number you recently finished. Congratulations. It's a stunner.

Enjoy.

Lotta great looking stuff. I'm envious!

Pretty chilly here today in Central Ohio. Good felt wearing weather, though. That's the good thing.
Wearing my Stetson Nutria Quality Conversion, and with a wide ribbon too!

They had crewcab pickups & satellite TV in 1920?

...like...what team you play for?

Wearing by BSVS today. Kind of a dreary day so the Blue Smoke washes out in the pics.

Beautiful gray color, the sky not so much. Love the crease Jack, classic.

Royal DeLuxe homburg today for the first really chilly day this fall. It's my kind of weather.

Hope that you are all having a swellificatious Saturday.

This is how an OR should look Bob. Perfect color and crease.

It must be nice to be able to grill in the middle of November. Especially in that fantastic hat. If it stops raining, I'll be putting my grill to bed for the winter this weekend.

Dobbs Twenty today... enjoy!

Yes, I do enjoy this Dobbs. I have a brown twenty, would like to find a nice gray like this one.

Hey folks!
A big thank you to all veterans for your service.
This Penn-Craft Lords' Hat continues my recent brown curled brim trend.

As much as I love homburgs, these Lord's Hats are so interesting. You really have to know your hats to recognize one. The general public is left out of this equation of course. And, thank you Moe.

Thanks Red!
When I bought it from eBay I was unsure of what it was until I had it in my hands due to blurry pics and a seller who wasn't hat savvy. I thought it may have been a homburg with the binding removed. Glad I took a chance!
