Chores today included filling the three bird big feeders. Surprising how 50#'s of seed disappears. The birds in my neighborhood are sated with seed. I wore a vtg. Stetson Bantam for my feeding chores. The Bantam is very lightweight and when I got inside I discovered that the hat crown and brim got banged around a bit and ended up changed from the creases I started with.

The lightweight felted hat is a terrific example of why vintage hats rule.

I needed to pick-up groceries and head to the butcher shop and changed to a vtg. Stetson Avenue.

Grilling chicken thighs and drumsticks in preparation for guests tomorrow afternoon I changed to the vtg.Borsolino Misto.

Hat: Stupendous JACKET: Over the TOP!!

Thanks, Charlie. It's a "Galla Morra" overcoat out of Donegal, Ireland. I picked it up for a song a while back at an antique mall. I had to sew some buttons on it, but now it's in the rotation. I don't know much about the brand, but it shore is toasty!

Heading out to early Mass under the Royal DeLuxe Stetson that was transformed from a homburg by @bond. It has a lovely minty hue in the appropriate lighting.

From what I recall, when he stumbled upon it the brim binding was a mess. I think that his TLC resulted in an extraordinarily nice looking hat. Thanks @bond!
