The side vents issue, interesting indeed.

I got mine from Sam at EA and does look more formal or dressy.

Indeed I am glad it happened that way, I falled over the sidewalk side, could have easily been the other way just in front of the car.

Anyway It seems that it wont be an issue in 2 weeks, worst thing is the bruised rib...

Temps projected to be in the eighties today, so I'm wearing my recently acquired Delmonico Sanibel. It's my first "white" Panama. I was looking for something that looked like Barney Fife's hat and I thought this fit the bill nicely. 2 3/4" brim, snaps down easily, appears to be well made with a leather sweatband, which I like. I'm on the fence about the feather—I kind of like it, though, I'd like it better if it had the nice, broad, almond-like shape that I've seen on Mikespens, and others, hats. They seem to be ideal.

Overall, this is the nicest Panama I have (which tells you a lot). I like it.

My New Akubra Capricorn in Tawny, I will call it Tawny Olive, great hat, much,nicer than the Stetson Strat Milan Poly, this one looks like a straw hat all the way, kind of a hemp like look.
