I think that in Europe handbashing isn't common.
First of all the felt/stiffener that is produced/used here isn't ideal for that. The only quality i actually think I get a decent result in is the Canadian beaver capelines I have.

Most hats you buy here are blocked a certain shape and it's meant to keep it that way.
I do agree that your hat is a lot more versatile if you can handbash, yet I also like a very clean line on a hat.
It might also be different with women's hats. But I haven't seen a lot of handbashable hats in Europe.

I don't know if D'Aquino hats are hand bashed or "pressed".

Looks like they only work for custom orders on the ETSY store, not the physical one.
Gave them my contacts and still waiting. A simple yes or no would be great, but only crickets...

Depends. My first was pressed. I asked for the second open crown and did it myself.

Fruno, some of those late 50's early 60's Stratoliners had smaller brims so maybe a Daltoliner or a Stratton? Or stick with Kevin
