Great looking hats guys. Two Montana peaks in a 24 hour period. Nice.
I tried looking out my hat for tomorrow and someone seemed to like it more.

Johnny, I find myself seeing the same thing here with my son. He loves to wear "daddy's hats". Great photo! :)

P.S. The lot of Hot Wheels in the background is also a familiar sight. :p

Catching up after a few busy days. Sorry if I missed anyone!

Bowlerman, I really like the shape on that Stetson!

Hatguy, very cool Smokey (as we used to call them in the Army). Stratton is the uniform-hat company, right? And a cool jacket with your Bailey!

Bob Roberts, something VERY special!

Greg, thanks for posting the inspirational NW Noir! I got word that Mike is working on mine now!

Hatguy, I'm seeing a lot of these fur hats in NYC this year. More than I ever have before....

Perry, great ensemble color combo! I'm liking the Montana crease.

History, that's a nice combo too. Here on a cold NYC day, I envy you the weather to wear short sleeves!

Ivan, outstanding look with the Last Man. I like the wide ribbon!

Tommy, I'm liking the brim up and the casual pinch combined with the formal gray color. Nice effect!

Alan, I wonder if Lord & Taylor had a larger men's department back in the days when hats flourished. They're still here in NYC, but 80% women's....

Sam, that Camilla is a great look with the rest of the ensemble that is a lot darker. Oh, and the jacket rocks, like the A-2 before it! One of the custom makers?

Steve, that Dermotta Wien is superb. I do like the casual finger dents combined with the formal lines. Gives it a bit more of an everyday look.

S4C, I did a double-take, and then another, just to see that velvety color again! Great combo with the houndstooth jacket!

Charlie, great lighting! You gave a nice shape to that Dobbs!

David, I like the black cherry in the sunlight. Do you live close to the water?

Bushman, I like the sharp pinch. Reminds me of Bogie's!

Mike, masterful color combo all around! I like the relaxed brim.

Jared, that homburg rocks. BTW, philosophy was my major (too?).

Joao, I see the point of the 4x Buffalo as a travel hat - lower crown?

Aether, I remember my first Akubra too. I had never seen them before, and I tried one on in a retail shop. I was very pleasantly surprised. Wear it well, sir!

Johnnycanuck and Carouselvic, way to go with the next generation! The kids lok so happy to be wearing Daddy's hats!

Thanks for the great comments yesterday, gents. Lately time has been more pressed. Today I'm wearing a slightly stingy light weight felt VS, in Sahara.

Thanks. At least it’s not all about Thomas the Train anymore. My little girl was wearing a red Snowyriver as well but I couldn’t get a picture. Kept whipping it off to smile when I got my camera out. Love my kids.

Like many of you, boy have I been busy of late. Not solo busy I have not tuned in and enjoyed the hat entertainment. You fellows rock the hat and caps!

This morning, not above 0'F yet, I was out and about in my new fedora. I acquired a vtg. Stetson Avenue. Excellent wearing hat in a magnificent felt. It will take me some time to discover more tidbits about the model and age, but wearing comes first.

Let me introduce you to the vtg.Stetson Avenue.

I am taking much bandwidth in showing the above pics, as I thought it might be interesting to fedora fiends. The Stetson Avenue is a vintage hat that does not appear but a couple of times on this forum. The sewn brim edge, felt, leather sweat sewn to a reed strip, special green color, trim, interior lining are very unique individually, much less as a whole. I included a pic of the ribbon sewing as like many of my vtg. fedoras it is done impeccably.

Enjoying a new vtg. hat day, Eric -

Greg, Thanks! Your assortment of caps have been fantastic! I can't keep up this thread! :)

Starting today!

Ted, Fantastic looking NW Hats 'Noir' fedora!

S4C, Great to see the Stetson Twenty back in action!

Charlie, Super color combos on your VS, in Sahara! Like the brim dip!

Harv, Another great color combo on your Resistol. Great finish too!

Eric, Your vintage Stetson Avenue is a stand out! Also nice back drop to show it off!

Hatguy1, Your Stefano grey wool flat cap is good match for your sweater!

Johnny, please tell me the "Thomas phase" ends at some point. I like trains and all, but I'm knee deep in Thomas paraphernalia, and they all talk. Loudly. We're having a Thomas-themed third birthday Saturday, and I'm going to be surrounded by that damned happy little steam engine, even the cake! Your kid looks good in that hat, by the way. Mine likes them too, when we can get that dorky Thomas engineer cap off him. Frank.
