Probably no true brown undertones but this was very bright, very direct sunlight. I was messing around with how the phone camera would capture it. The black seats of my car tend to make the camera images really wash out.

Embroidered Last Drop liner

Size tag, manufacturers label point to mid 50s. Store price tag for $18 is more like late 60s which I don’t believe this hat is. More pics in New Hats thread
Have a great weekend

Going to root on the OSU Women's Gymnastics team today in their meet against Arizona. The early 1960s Cavanagh Thirty stingy is a must on this windy, blustery day. The raindrops can be seen on these images. This hat has felt to die for, supple and smooth. Go Beavers!

A large print dating from the 1930s showing the Vienna and Neutitschein / Novy Jicin (two factories one for felt hoods and one for finished hats) factories. The print belongs to (Jonathan) the grandson of Victor Böhm owner and chief inventor at Brüder Böhm Wien, Neutitschein / Novy Jicin.

That hat seems to suck in the light, Steve. A beauty.
