Thanks Bob. You've been rolling out some awfully nice hats lately, save one anyway. So darn pretty.
iNice Jack. I like that edge treatment. What hat is that?Close!
Thanks Doug. That kind of humidity gets old pretty quickly, with me at least. It's 91 feels like 102 here now. I've decided staying in the house sounds good so it's a Dr Who marathon this afternoon. That is one hell of a nice hat, Michael! Impressive, to say the least. When we went to the beach at Playas, Ecuador, with family the temp was right at 79F and 100% humidity! Crazy, right? I didn't think that was possible unless it was pouring down rain. My cheap market hat popped a vertical crease just off center of the front crown! I just poured filtered water over it and ironed it back into place a couple days ago... with a clean white handkerchief between the iron and the straw; low silk heat setting.... slow but sure.
Keep cool and hydrated, friend!

Did the crease iron out well? I've not done much work on any kind of straws.
Thanks all,
Michael
Totally in your league. This hat is an easy wear and it was very reasonable (52 dollars, I think). I changed my signature for Mr. Roberts, who has a penchant for misspelling my name. 8^Dif alien means out of my league, it's alien alright.
Where's Matt the Barrister Barnes hiding ? Did the guys in the white coats catch him ? There's several more that have been AWOL for a while too .
Alan, I love it. Absoloutely outta this world [emoji89]1920-ish genuine Mikado straw that landed in Roswell, New Mexico. Details are sketchy...

A google for Roswell, NM tells the rest of the story.
Area 51...???Been meaning to shoot him an email but haven't. I've been wondering, too.

It's too wide for you. This is an archive pic from a few days ago, but this is what I plan to wear today. We're looking at 81F, which is not too bad, but 94 is on tap for Sunday. Ugh...
Lil' Fed is headed out on a day trip with her grandma; back later tonight.
