Battling the heat wave and an uncooperative shirt collar in the Dobbs:

Thanks guys! The brim on this one is a real statment, love it.
Both are super clean examples of Alan Style! Love the Knox logo on the boater, beautiful.
You make turn of the last century look cool Justin!
I spy a tri star pin!! Yay!
You can say that again! Sweet!Right off the TOP SHELF, David!!
Keeping cool in style, Jim!In a nod to temps predicted to be in the 90s today, a PB Milan sits atop my noggin.

You really rock those old hats, Justin. Very impressive, to say the least!Running quick errands with the c.20s Stetson Nutria. I apologize for the lack of variation in my posts as of late, I am just really enjoying these westerns, especially for being outdoors in the yard

Say hello to Mike for me. You look fairly aristocratic in that Dobbs, Red!Taking off for a trek to NW Hats in Eugene (about 45 min south) to pick up my latest OSU historical homage. My Dobbs milan stingy will be riding along. I just love the ribbon treatment on this one. My best guess on dating is early 60s.

Thanks Moon. All the steam did reactivate a bit of stiffness in the felt so I can actually touch it without it changing shape. I'm really liking the color combo with the copper colored ribbon & binding.

I just love this one! Color and contrasting red ribbon makes me smile!A cool morning with promises of 80+ degrees later in the day... time for some Cuenca colored straw for running errands. I hate paying bills, but the hat keeps me smiling! I sure love a navy fedora!
Just got home with the Slats Gill Playboy Clone. I couldn't be more pleased. Light as a feather, unlined and finished to a baby bottom smoothness (both inside and out), sand color with Playboy type ribbon treatment. I took a couple of shots with a preliminary hollywood brim curl. Need to refine it for just the perfect Coach Gill panache! More later, I need a beer and a nap.
