Thanks Red. Yes, leather band. It's missing the Stetson pin or whatever pin was mounted on it. I will have to find something to fill up the two holes.

By the way, the Pilgrim, yes an old Sears brand, cap performed very well on the bicycle lately. And it was about the right weight for the day. It's been more like straw hat and linen cap than felt hat weather here for the last few days. I hear it's supposed to be back in the 30s around next weekend.

Two hats so far today, PB Milan for an early airport run and then Akubra Tablelands for walk around town with my 4-legged friend.

Some beautiful hats here again today! I wore this nameless German ladies' hat. A good friend of mine inherited her mother's hats, but they are way too small for her, so she asked if I wanted them. Some were too small for me too, but this one was a perfect fit.

wore the Optimo Dearborn last night to a crazy Hollywood event called Beefsteak. It's a charity event for the LA Food Bank held by members of the comedy community. There was more red meat than anyone ever needs.
