Wow Alan! That one is a keeper! What era is it from?
A tip of the hat in thanks... it is post-war from the 1950s I believe.

Thanks buddy!Nice!! Perfect pinch Harv!
Thanks Bob!Great pinches and nice deep dent.
I think you made a great choice in changing out that ribbon. It looks great!I've had a love/hate relationship with the rust colored ribbon that comes stock on Stetson's Racine model since I first laid eyes on it.

Earlier this month I worked up the courage to let Van at JJ Hat Center swap it out for one that matches the trim. So, debuting for the very first time....(insert drumroll, preferably played by the Lounge's one and only @moontheloon)...my modded Stetson Racine:

Thanks Red.I don't know which I like more, the Dobbs or those pants! You are always such a treat every morning!
Never quite sure how you measure a brim, ie from ribbon or from sweat, but it's 2 1/4 or 2 3/8 front, possibly a touch less on the sides and 5 1/2 open. No idea the age.very nice Michael !!!
those dimensions look quite different than my Whippets
would you mind a few measurements? ... I am curious ... could be the camera angles ?
Nice old Dobbs! The best part of a Game Bird is the liner art. Have you posted pics of this before?

Wonderful.Hey people!
Many thanks for the likes on yesterday's project. Harder to make a sloppy careless looking bow (that doesn't look kike total crap) than it is to make a nice sharp crisp one. From what somebody posted shortly after I posted the pics of the original bow, the style only lasted a year or two. I think I know why...
Today is a great day for a G.B.Borsalino fu Lazzaro &C. Stiff Felt.
My way of saying fu, 2016.
Have a great day!
