I'm particularly fond of this overwelt ... and the felt on this piece is fantastic ... much more so than most of my hats from the 1950s

Great hat! (And I want your glasses.)
We wanted to stop at the Castle Crags outside of Dunsmuir but I was whipping by them at 85 miles an hour. Also some cool rocks for a hat pic.Friggin awesome!
I LOVE hats + scenery pics.
And those ROCK! ROCK! ROCK!
Glad you are home safely. I hope that you guys had a great trip.
Nice old Dobbs! The best part of a Game Bird is the liner art. Have you posted pics of this before?Meh. I'll stick with freak, and fly my flag high. I'm too old and set in my ways to change now.
Finally took the Game Bird out for a test flight today

Windy, too. I was afraid it was really going to go for a flight of it's own!
Get them both out and celebrate tonight!I think it's packed away with the hookah.
Nice!! You will have the cleanest, most special hat there!Ready to head over to the Stockyards to celebrate a friends birthday. Has to be a western - Stetson 25

If'n you like that...you gotta see my quadruple stitch side-to-side welt brim treatment that I have on my newspaper hat.Triple stitch overwelt??!!!
My knees be a-knockin'!
Oh, and another thing. I just went back and noticed I had 24 "likes" on my Game Bird from yesterday. I think that's a new record for one of my hats. Thanks all! Mucho appreciado!
Just got home about an hour ago from a 13 hour drive through California to Oregon. I'll have to catch up with the great hats that have been posted today. My Rose Bowl hat was right there with me for the entire 500+ miles. Stopped for a WHAYWT shot with Mt. Shasta in the background.
