Yes, the entire valley is paralyzed by 1" of snow. I know most of you Mid-West folks are probably spitting out your breakfast in fit of laughter! We had about a 1/4" of frozen rain glazing everything though. I just sat here watching the Portland Bumper Car Championships on TV. I still love that bow treatment Dennis, keep posting this hat I love it.We got a couple inches of snow yesterday afternoon. Red got freezing rain just south of my gps cord's. No precip here today so I picked my still new Penman custom steel fedora. Love this baby.

Stetson Sovereign Twenty Mode Edge

I've wanted one of these caps for some time now. Looks really good on you Eric!It warmed up above 0'F and the dogs and I have been out for a walk. A Cordova Cap went with under my down hood.
Best, Eric -
OK You really have got me going with this one! This hat, besides being a significant historical artifact in your collection, is perhaps the best hat for a public "head turner" anyone could own. This cool one makes even a greater impact that a classic bowler when out in public among the unhatted masses. Not one of them could let this hat pass without at least a look of wonder. I again, doff my humble chapeau to this beauty!1930s Bergen Hatters. One of the more unique hats that hangs out at my place.

They seem to be coming from under the woodwork, there was a time when it was very difficult to get a block made... I stick to vintage blocks from eBay Germany, it's my undoing... Having said that, I've heard bad things about the Spanish guy, mostly because if you tell him to copy somebody elses signature hat shape he has no compunction doing so... ah well...
Beautiful hat @Celia I know the feeling, some felts just beg to be stroked! From what I see on their website Mühlbauer has been making hats since 1903, but I get the feeling it was women's hats, which explains why @mayserwegener cannot find them on the trade guide from the twenties. I wonder what the date is on yours.
Thanks guys for the comments and likes on yesterday's Stetson 100.
I get so far behind that I just can't keep up with all the posts. Nice to see some new faces taking part though.
BSHW for me this morning.
Cheers!
David
Not only is that liner pristine, it has a very unique and unusual branding for us all to enjoy. Impressive Perry!

Not at all sure why I gave my brother-in-law my Tilley Winter hat when he was on his way to a month and a half in Florida.

The fur hats are from the barber for a trim the weekly growth and apologize.
They have promised that they will show next week
I take my cue from Steve and wearing an old homburg in wool
It was manufactured by Cappellificio Monzese in the capital of wool in Italy: Monza
It certainly has a consistency and quality in wool felt unobtainable today
For all lovers of homburg here's a product that still has life in spite of the wool and probably seventy years and still going strong
Thanks for your warm appreciations on fur Italian hats, now at rest in the barbershop
Great hat, a real head turner! I think we all want Santa to bring us one of those umbrellas! Really cool!Out and about wearing my green tube hat made of wool braid sewn on a straw hat sewing machine. The first pic with my friend Nina and the second with a chubby admiror.
