I painted with a sage brush today...

OK! Alan you mentioned within the past few weeks that the sage color was hard to wear. I beg to differ! Sir, today's portrait post is spectacular. The ALANFGAG bar has raised. I love the hat and pairing. Look forward to seeing more of the "new" Alan.";)

Busy day and yet home early. Shower and a change of clothes from my coach costume found me running a seemly endless string of errands. Stop and go, repeat ad naseum. Todays nearly 90'F temps have me worn out. Wearing a straw hat allows me to think I am cool! Cool both ways today.

Thank you Eric!. If I said hard to wear, I was wrong. I think sage is a very attractive and easy tone to wear. It is very hard to photograph though. I lucked out on these shots - the color is very accurate.

Thanks guys. Sometimes the smaller brands hit style out of the park...

... Alan is in a league of his own...

Too generous, but thank you for the kind comment with baseball reference.
It's terrible to draw attention to an already awful pun, but surely my home run pun on the Templeform/Stylepark mark above did not survive the trip across the Atlantic? Your English is brilliant, BTW.

Thanks hato and Trench! Out of all my felts, this one seems to get the most compliments from passers-by when I am out and about.
Esther, while you and Alan are both stylish, sophisticated, articulate and look darn good in hats, you have the pretty girl thing going on. Sorry, Alan, but it comes down to that...:D

Oh haha sort of :)
Eh, I started reading in English at about 12. That helped quite a bit.
Translations loose a lot of the puns and little funny side remarks.
And I'm good at languages in general. Don't ask me to calculate stuff...

My accent on the other hand is quite terrible.
Oh well, we understand each other. That's what counts in the end.
Thank you though.
