Newsboy cap today... or should I more properly call it baker boy cap, providing this lid came from the UK?

It is a made-to-order cap, manufacturer is Bookster. More info and pics in the "Newsboy" thread if you are interested. ;)

Today it's my gray Adam Executive compliments of Johnnyphi. I pulled this one out of the closet and worked on the crown a bit. Every time a pick this hat, I think I should wear it more often. It's very light and comfortable.

I posted this Stetson 4X westrn previously with a 5" brim. Since then, I cut the brim down to 3", changed the brim shape, and added a cavalry cord.

Yes, indeed.

Daizawaguy, beautiful pictures. Carter, nice touch with those acorns too!
As for me, nothing that holds a candle to those posted.

And, thank you HPG, for the kind comment.

Indy, where did you get this shirt? I have a good friend that we nicknamed "Secret Squirrel" about a decade ago.
Yep, I gotta get one of those shirts too. A gal started calling me "Secret Squirrel" because of my Packer hat, and then when I wore my Fed IV Dark Brown, she said, "now that is a Secret Squirrel hat"! She calls me SS all the time now.
Who the hell wants to be named after an animal?

Nice going, all around...

...especially the ribbon IC. A real attention grabber.

As soon as I come up with a reason to leave the house, this is the hat I'll be taking with me.

I just got this Whippet in the mail about twent minutes ago. I super amped to take it for a spin. There's more of it in "New Hats", if you care to take a look.
Down to one "must have" mass production hat ;) ....

Carter, I watched the Howard Hawks film Rio Bravo last night...your Stetson is a ringer for John Wayne's, down to the diamond bash. :eusa_clap His is a good deal more abused, with the upturned front brim and a hole in the crown, but still, could be the same hat. Very nice.

haven't picked out hat for today but thinking of the glen grey campdraft. Here is the Akubra Zephyr at the lake this past weekend. It did real well in the sun & rain

Nice looking Akubra, gtdean...how do you like it as a summer hat? It was about 85 in the California desert yesterday, and my Tawny Fawn Fed IV held up well, but the sweatband was pretty damp by the time I finished a walk with the dogs. I like the dimensions of the brim in your photo...by new Miller Milan doesn't allow for that swoop. Is the Akubra straw?

My new Miller Milan "Danville"

Finally got a chance to test out my new Miller Milan straw hat yesterday. It's the Danville in cocoa. I especially like the ribbon treatment they've given it. I'm having to get used to its stiffness, though...quite a different experience after taking off the Fed IV. I'm in Palm Springs on spring break, so here are the necessary shots with Reyn Spooner shirt and margarita nearby, at Las Casuelas Terraza downtown.

Yes, Steve, it is an Akubra Straw (their techno-straw or whatever they call it). It is vented so the air passes thru nicely. I got it to see if it would last a season even getting caught in the rain. It shed water very easy as next day after photos was very wet. Very nice sweatband as well. HTH

Nice hat Pilgrim!:D

Bob that is a good ribbon width to make it a little different than all the thin ribbons!

Torpedo Have you tried curling the brim a little? I think it would look nice either way.:D
