Buckaroo Hatters 100% beaver custom. It's done an excellent job of keeping the rain off me most of the day. Wierd weather in Knoxville right now...

Yes ,pic is taken in Bay View,south shore park Lake Michigan , home of the south shore water frolics, which Is another name for beer,brats, and picnics in the park,and of course the scent of ailweise!

My recently acquired 40's era Stetson has become my favorite hat of late. It came from John Arioli men's store in Barre VT, and fellow lounger Johnnydollar gave me a tie from the same shop. The two together inspired my outfit today, a look I like to call 1940s farmer goes to town.

I put on my clean jeans and jacket, and my good ticking stripe shirt, my tie and my best hat and headed into town.

Thanks, I still haven't figured out where exactly John Arioli's shop was located, but I did find out about a book on the history of Barre's Main street that will likely answer that question. Regardless, this picture was probably taken within 3 blocks of where that store was.
