Lots of re-crease options on this Hi-Roller. I'm thinking maybe......Justin Dart? Thoughts?

I kinda like this one.
Is it called “Bond...James Bond (West)”??
Nice color.

From "The Son". I like that hat and the gray one he wears on the show. For about $800 Texas Hatters will make you one as well.
Yup, The Texas Hatters Hi-Roller 100 I just got off ebay (super cheap) in Bone / Silverbelly could easily be adapted to that crease. I saw that Texas Hatters wanted $800 + for that hat style. Hat should arrive today and later this week will drive over to Texas Hatters (30 minutes from my house) and see what they can do wtih it. :)

My first Adam score. Although I own a F.R.Tripler Derby, this one has a taller crown and wider brim. Oh. That liner!

Nice to know my competition was a Lounge member! Great score! My limit was what it was! I'm certain you'll simply adore it!
Doc

Hey, Doc. Maybe we need to coordinate our auction activity ;)
If for any reason the hat doesn’t work out I’ll give you the first option on it.

Nice score on the derby too. Once upon a time I’d never have given a derby/bowler a second look but anymore they just look cool.

I'm going to take a 90° turn here for a moment: As soon as I'm over this nasty skin treatment to my pate, I'm going to celebrate and reward myself with a new hat. I haven't decided yet what it's going to be, but I'm going to announce it here!

I think we should all get to make one recommendation each and you go with whatever gets the most votes.

Y'know. I had my eyes on that Mac. But I had one already and didn't want to be well...selfish! You and I are the same as far as Derbys. I never thought I'd fall enough for them to sport either. The same applies to Homburgs. And. Well...Here I am.

Bowen said he hasn't heard of the brand, but I had read an old thread where Art Fawcett praised it. There is another, short-brimmed, in Timothies closet, but it was more expensive, of course, and I like the shape of this one better.
I asked Dinerman to put in a "buy now" button, because I need it in Texas before Saturday, and he graciously agreed.
I love it. There is a stain under the brim... Do you think it may come out? What with, besides scissors or a scalpel?

Check out the links below. I was pretty freaked out the first time I submerged a felt hat in Coleman camp fuel.

I think I will start with just trying the naphta in that spot only...

I did my first and LAST naptha bath on one of my $10 thrift store finds. Old resistol, pretty bad stains but had a decent sweat. I pulled the liner out and soaked it in some 20 Mule Team Borax solution. That part cleaned up nicely. But, After an hour in the naptha bath the sweat turned milky white and nasty and the stains never did come out of the fur. So, after all the nonsense of finding and buying the naptha, finding a suitable tub to soak it in, dealing with the caustic naptha, filtering the naptha back into the can, and having a poor outcome all around....I will now just send my referbs to Art. Naptha is some really nasty sh*t. And I have better things to do with my time. ;(

There is ONE hatter in Mexico city... And I am not sure if I'd trust him with my treasures...
And Art is pretty much out of my reach, with the cost of shipping from Mexico...
