In any event, the good news is that they are still around. I had previously tried to call the number listed on their Facebook page and never got anyone, but it turns out that number is for the Williamsburg location that closed a while back. I did finally find another number and got through to someone at the Avenue M store. He told me they are building a new website.
Glad it was a false alarm. I understand the owner is a well-regarded member here, and it would be a shame in general to lose another hat store.
