I'll look for that! I like that praline liqueur and snag some anytime I'm in LA. It's definately great in the coffee or over ice cream.

That sounds like the reverse of how most would have done it. I have only had absinthe on two occasions and each time, I really liked it.

Don't really need an excuse. In Injia sunny clime gin was originally mixed with quinine tonic to make it more palatable.

That sounds like the reverse of how most would have done it. I have only had absinthe on two occasions and each time, I really liked it.

I don't do the whole sugar and spoon thing. On the rocks with a splash of water. It quenches my thirst like a Pastis or a G n T. And it was hot working outside yesterday.

Tonight I was back to the Hamm's beer! Land of sky blue waters!

I didn't say fizzy water--- I said Beer. It was mostly Pacifico.

And a REAL Mai Tai is not the nasty girlie stuff they make today.
I use Trader Vic’s original 1947 recipe and ingredients: J Wray and Nephew Overproof rum, Orange Curacao, juice of one lime, rock candy syrup and Orgeat. Fruit juice, fruit and weird colored concoctions need not apply.
