Marc Chevalier brought a vintage Absenthe server thingy a few years back. If not then I suggest a trip to the Edison in Los Angeles!
Go buy some and keep that fat, green guy away from me.
The Edison? I might have to look into that.
That does look nice
You're driving. I call shotgun!
I call a cab!
Good! Free ride.
and served in the wrong glass
Yep. Beer is either in a pint glass or a pilsner glass. Worse, like I had at dinner the other night, the dreaded frosted glass. Couldn't taste the beer and it makes the table wet.
Today was a very bad day, albeit one with a bright, if unexpected, side.
Regardless, it led to imbibing of a Widmer Brothers W'12 (Dark Saison), Red Hook Copper Hook, and two Liz Taylors. There may be a fifth after that; we'll see.
Huge fan of Tatuaje! An excellent smoke at an excellent price. I think about half my humidor are either Tatuaje or Padilla.
As for my day... not hugely bad, I suppose. More like, tough. And on the way home from a very late class, it occurred to me that I had a bottle of crème de violette that really needed to be attended to. As for the ales, I'd yet to have a chance to try the Copper Hook, and I was just kind of craving that candi sweetness of the W'12.
