You're welcome, and Thank you Fletch!

haha I don't have fabulous shoes, but gee it sounds like a good excuse to get a pedicure for the upcoming summer season...;)

Thank you very kindly Carey. BTW, that blue dress thing you wore to the sale in SF: whooo doggies! :eusa_clap

Apropos of nothing, I happen to feel the same way about women's shoes that Françoise Sagan does about their dresses.

Apologies for the rather boring look today.

The suit's a grey 60s Dunn & Co with a windowpane pattern. It's my only poly-wool blend suit but considering the high armholes, high wasted trousers, near perfect fit and low price I couldn't resist.

I also hope I don't offend any traditionalists by wearing a suit without a tie. I wouldn't usually do so, but to me a black shirt looks OK without a tie.

Me and my wife in Detroit last week. Im wearing a Grey with burgundy, black and white fleck jacket dated Feb 2, 1955 (I have the matching trousers), navy blue trousers made by my wife from a 1954 Simplicity pattern, 40s Towncraft tie, 50s clip and Old Woogies white Bucs (not in photo).

My wife is wearing a blue twinset with pink and white gingham piping and pearlized buttons, mid 50s. Her handbag is 50s as well as her earrings and necklace.

Casual me, but in the pink! This is about as low key and un-dressed up as I ever get. Okay, so there's a little gel in my hair... No makeup today, old RL cotton ruffle front shirt with pearl buttons, older Gloria Vanderbilt jeans that are now about three inches too big in the waist. The jeans have been relegated to garden work and hand washing of laundry use.

Wow, this looks almost like a true vintage photo. I had to look hard at it to prove it wasn't! Nice work!
