What are these?

Any idea of what these are? They look like vintage hankies, but look closely and you will see that there is only room for a single fold. Ideas anyone? I have a stack of these to price, and they are about half the size of standard hankies. I'd like to identify them correctly in order to price them correctly for the charity shop I volunteer at.
Thanks for looking,

Could they possibly be child size hankies? The embroidery would fit, as well as the small size...that's my only guess for now...and now I'm very intrigued!!

Sorry about the poor grammer in the last post, couldn't spill out all those words correctly...

Maybe child's hankies - but what about folding them? If you fold the clown one, than the clown will typically be pointing DOWN in the wrong direction and on the other, if you do a single or double fold, it obscures the embroidery.

Or maybe a little I don't know what you call it, but you would place it on a desk or table and maybe put a lamp or something on it?

Maybe a baby burp cloth? It definitely looks like something for the child/baby.

This seems like a good guess, as well as the kid's hankies.
I don't think they are kid's doilies, they appear to be too fragile. But I could be wrong...[huh]

I used to have a little child-size breakfast set with eggcup, little plate for egg cup (you know the ones with a dip for the cup and a little side plate attached for the toast soldiers.... :) )

And that was my grandma's from when she was a child! had little rabbits and flowers on, so obviously meant for a youngster?

(we haven't got it any more - I think I used to mix paint in it or something equally ungrateful in my youth...)

For a child???

What young kid do you know who has the manners to deserve this? lol

Remember that children were expected to act as adults until well into the 20th century.

Those are cocktail napkins, actually-I've sold lots of them. The embroidery appears to have been done in Madeira, Spain...it looks that good to me. If you ever find any marked Marghab...well, let's just say you have hit the jackpot. How many do you have of each design?
