Or vacuum ashtrays like Cadillacs had.Life was challenging out west... no cupholders lol
Or Bars in the back seat! Im thinking the Imperial actually had a mini bar up front lolOr vacuum ashtrays like Cadillacs had.
Gorgeous, Terry. Another winner!!Getting caught up on a few projects. This is a custom Western that I built for a customer. It's about ready to go to its new home. The customer wanted a Cutter crease but with something more pronounced than just two bumps. This is what we came up with. The brim width is 4 1/8 inches with a wide curl and "pull downs, front and back", (last picture). View attachment 689047 View attachment 689048 View attachment 689049 View attachment 689051
Nice!I don’t buy many new western hats these days; usually on the average of maybe one felt and one straw per year. I can’t SWEAR this is brand new, but it certainly does not appear to have ever graced anyone’s head before mine.
I bought this for three reasons, the moment I saw it advertised. 1) I own a 7X beaver American I use in CAS, and it’s a phenomenally well-made hat. 2) I’ve always wanted a hat in black cherry. Yes, it’s hard to capture the color on film, but in real life, in sunlight, it’s a stunning hue. 3) This is a 10X, and it was priced at roughly 25% of current, out-the-door prices. Bonus, upon receiving it: the gentle kettle-curl to the brim. This has a VERY “1940s Stetson” vibe to it, and that’s absolutely one of my sweet spots.
