Well worn Nubuck

If anyone has a picture of well-worn Nubuck leather shoes I would appreciate your posting it.

I'm considering a pair of shoes, but wonder how they wear over time.

Anyone? Is Nubuck really this unpopular?

Here you go...

Nubuck tends to develop smooth spots in areas, especially those receiving a little extra wear or weathering. Just like it does with suede, getting nubuck wet or using inappropriate leather treatments will wax down the the nap. In this photo, the lighter brown parts of the shoes are nubuck and you can see the patches where the nubuck has worn over time.
