WANTED: WWII Sweater - Need large help me get for father's Christmas, Trade/buy

Hi,
I wont go into the full story, but I had a large that someone on ebay was going to sell me for $50, it was dated 1945, and perfect and a large.
THe person listed a buy it now without telling me and I checked 2 hrs later and it was gone.
This was for my father for Christmas. I am lost now. He fought in Vietnam, and his father fought in WWII. He has parkinson's and beginning stages of dementia. He wanted an original WWII 5 button Sweater. I need to find a legitmate WWII 5 button sweater. I know the new ones are the same except different buttons, but I want to get one that has a tag stating WWII.
I have TONS of stuff I would trade, including some Vintage mens, and a few ladies (but not much ladies) clothes, mens socks (really unique dress socks from the 30's, 40's or 50's, really cool, new with tags, colorful and called Hose), or WWII stuff, Korean stuff, or Vietnam.
PLease help me get this so I can make my father happy this Christmas!!
I know he wont be mad or upset, but he has done so much for me, this is the least I can do.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply, but I kept hoping that someone had an original.
My father used to reenact and always strived for original stuff.
THis is why I wanted an original.
I saw a guy had 2 mechanic sweaters, but they were too small. I would have taken one of those if they had been bigger.
Can you guys still check around?
I will buy or trade, or both

Sorry, I need a large, at least 38 minimum. But 40, 42, a "Large" is Preferred!!
my dad is bigger, and I know a large would fit perfect, medium would be small but may fit.

Well, I finally got one. I paid almost triple of what the 1st one I missed buying, but at least I finally got my father the Large WWII dated sweater.
I am still upset at missing the 1st one, but o well, at least I got him one now.

Glad to hear you found what you were looking for! :eusa_clap I just came across this thread and was going to offer up one of my own 5-button sweaters (issued to me, never unfolded) but it's a more recent item.
