Hi,
My son (8 at the time) went to a neighbor’s estate sale and came home with an entire cart of stuff (apparently they wanted to get rid of stuff). He was wearing a Fedora that caught my eye (and created a cool photo op).
He picked up an awesome Wormser “The Texan” hat. It was stored in a Stetson box but the box has since fallen apart. Regardless, the hat is awesome and looks as though it hasn’t ever been worn from what I can tell. There is absolutely no sweat in it and under the sewn in leather sweat band, there is a paper tag indicating a size 7. It’s a tan hat with a thin band. The only potential issue is that some of the stitching on the sweatband has unraveled but it still in tact.
I found a few old threads on this hat dating back as far as 2009 but there isn’t much info. This hat deserves to be in the hands of a true aficionado. My son is very interested in selling the hat.
I’m new to the forum so please let me know if you have any questions. Here are the photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/CxLaiAMUrUnzaAG18
