Hello all ~
I have a nice old kersey wool navy peacoat for sale. I believe this coat was manufactured in 1971. The coat is near mint and as best as I can tell it was either never issued or rarely worn. I can find no moth tracks or anything else wrong with the coat. Very nice condition - hard to believe it was made 40+ years ago. Heavy, quality coat. I personally have three navy peacoats from the 60's in rotation and this '71 coat is in the nicest condition I've seen. Unfortunately, it's too long for me. It's tagged 38L but fits more like a 42 in the chest and shoulders. Long arms, etc - great coat for a taller guy. Selling coat as is with the shoulder patch but this can be moved in 2 minutes with a seam ripper (leaves a very minor scar that is very acceptable and hardly noticable).
Here are the pictures and feel free to ask questions. Asking $100 shipped CONUS.
shoulders - 18.75"
chest - 21.0
arms - 26.5"
length - 34.0"
