Hello! I'm new here and would like some help. I have VERY long (my hair reaches my hips) & VERY thick hair. I would love to learn some vintage styles that work for long hair. I'm particularly fond of curls and my hair holds a curl reasonably well. The problem is, I just don't know how to curl all of my hair. I usually use sponge rollers (because if I spray my hair with a little setting lotion it will be dry by morning) but I always get a terrible dent and I can only roll to about 3 or 4 inches below my shoulders. There is just too much hair! My question is, what kind of rollers (Hot rollers or something to sleep in?) work best for long hair? I can't stand curling irons, it would take hours to fix my hair. Also, cutting is just not an option, it's taken years to get this long.
My hair is a little longer than it is in this picture to give you a little more of an idea of what I'm working with.
