Vintage "Style" wide legged Mens Trousers

I've been on the lookout for pairs of vintage style wide legged, window pane trousers.

Has anyone tried either of these?

I think the first are very handsome but obviously the second and the other choices from that link are quite affordable.

It made me think of this: in think in the 1930's there was a collegiate style of wide leg pants the name of the fashion totally escapes me. But there was a place making reproduction of the style that had a website that I can't turn up either!

THAT'S IT!!!!! Revamp makes some. IF you Google Oxford Bags Trousers and click on images you see some of those fashion drawings that look really great. Anyway the pictures SPW4922 made me think of the Oxford Bags but the synapse with the name Oxford Bags would not fire.

If you know how to sew, you could make a pattern from a pair of pants you have.

That's the type of fabric pattern I like...wish I had a 3-piece single breasted summer suit from that......
