Vintage shops that usually carry hats.

I know this is a long shot, but I've lived in Rochester, NY now for 6 years and struggling to find vintage, or just used hats. I know there are a few of us upstaters around here and would like to share our opportunities or places to hunt.

1) Ricky's place (Downtown Rochester) but they usually don't have anything worth while

2) Fox Run antiques (Avon) they had two hats, one was an '80's open road w/ box, but they wanted $90 for it (and that price included the inch of dust on it)

3) Ontario Mall Antiques (north of Canadaguia lake) for being the largest antiques mall in the area, they only had 3 hats, one of which I purchased and sold here on the lounge.

4) antiques store in downtown avon, they've yet to have a hat...

so if anyone knows of a good place to keep an eye on, just let me know...

Don't overlook used clothing stores, charity resale like the Salvation Army and Purple Heart Veterans, and consignment shops. I got a nice vintage Knox porkpie at a hole-in-the-wall consignment shop for $10.00! And don't forget to haggle.
