I think these are good fun and very well made.
A guy called 'Sillof' has taken Star Wars action figures and re-imagined them in several new genres:


"Serial Wars" (1930s Republic Serial style):

I've got to admit, the creepiest version of Darth Vader is in the Noir Wars line... I wouldn't want to cross him. He has that Arnold Toht look about him that's just so menacing. My favorite two versions are Noir Wars and World Wars, those all make the characters look a bit cooler than their real counterparts, actually.

Those are great fun, I like them a lot! The noir are probably my favourite, not only stylistically but also the creativity involved in reimaging the non-human characters as human.
